Missing The Happy Island

Hello lovelies!

I know it has been a long time since I have posted on this blog, but I am back! Between finals at school, then coming home and getting settled for the Summer, and a bit of lack of inspiration, I decided to take a mini break from Cozy With Coffee.

I am so happy to be back though!

In today's post, I wanted to talk about the amazing island of Aruba. This was our second time going, and we ended up staying at the same All-Inclusive resort (Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive Resort). All I can say about this island is it truly fits its label as "One Happy Island."

Now, I realize some people tend to like vacations where they are always active, doing, touring, seeing, etc, but there is truly something so serene and wonderful about an island/caribbean vacation. Being able to lay on a lounge chair, looking at the perfectly clear blue water is those moments in life where truly just live in the moment- not thinking about past or future worries.

The serenity of the beach, the happy thoughts of summer, the cooling water of the Caribbean Sea, are all parts that make up a truly amazing and unforgettable getaway. I had the best time with my family on the happiest island, and really am still missing this place every day.

Aruba, you're always in my heart.

Here are some photos from my trip!

This perfection.

8 Beauty Finds Under $10

Today, I wanted to write about some great beauty finds that are under $10.00 each! I love buying makeup, but it can get really expensive if you're not conscience about your picks! Many times, drugstore makeup can be just as good as the high end brands. Target, Ulta, and Harmon Face Values are my favorite places to buy makeup!

1. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer-For me, primers are not something I pick up every day. However, when I want my makeup to look extra nice and am taking more time to do it, primer is an important step in keeping your foundation looking good and not cakey all day! This Mayebelline primer has a really smooth and buttery texture that feels great on your face and it definitely helps my foundation go on smoother than normal! You can't go wrong with this $6.99 primer!

5 Things to do on a Snow Day

Last weekend, winter storm "Jonas" hit, and it hit hard! We got about 30 inches of snow in Virginia, it was crazy! I was basically trapped in my apartment from Friday until Monday, which was good and bad. I definitely enjoy being snowed in and "hunkering down", but by Monday I was getting cabin fever and NEEDED to get out of my apartment! Snow days are a great time to catch up on rest and lay around, but they're also perfect days to do some things that you normally don't have the time to do!

I've composed a list of 5 things to keep you busy on a snow day (or a winter day) when you're stuck inside with nothing to do!

Product Review: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

If any of you are like me, then winter hates your skin. I naturally have dry skin, so the cold weather only makes it worse! I recently found the only moisturizer that actually keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day.

In the past I have tried tons of moisturizers for my skin that either did nothing, or made my skin too greasy. This "Ultra Repair Cream" is more expensive than what I normally like to spend on beauty products at $30.00. However, I noticed that a little goes a long way. I have had this tub for a year already and have barely made a dent in the container!

Welcome to Cozy with Coffee! I'm so excited to start my new blogging journey! I figured what better way to start off my new blog and the new year (24 days in...) than with my top 6 goals for 2016?
